Sylvain, a dental doctor based in Geneva, contacted us after seeing one of our videos on Instagram. However, his WordPress site, which was already very well designed graphically by a former agency, did not attract enough patients via Google.

Its objective was simple: generate more qualified local visits thanks to natural referencing, without having to invest in Google Ads campaigns as many of its competitors in Switzerland did.

Problem & Challenges

The Neveclinic site was technically efficient and visually successful, but under-exploited in terms of SEO. As is often the case in this type of project, the following was missing:

  • A real targeted keyword strategy
  • Optimized editorial content
  • A hierarchical structure for Google

Sylvain's objective was twofold:

  • Position yourself in dental leader in Geneva on local searches.
  • Attracting first patients in emergency situations or in active appointments procedures.

Strategy & Actions

Technical audit & optimization of SEO databases

Before starting the substantive work, we carried out a full audit of the site, both on the front-end and in the back-end. This allowed us to quickly identify the weak points:

  • Headlines that are too long or poorly organized
  • Incomplete metadata
  • Service pages that are too generic

We then reviewed all the H1, H2 titles, Title tags and descriptions, to structure the site in a logical way in the eyes of Google, while maintaining the elegance of the initial design.

Competitive research & editorial strategy

Thanks to our in-house software, we have thoroughly analyzed competing sites in the Geneva region. What we discovered was decisive:
The other clinics only treated their classic services (implants, whitening, care...), but completely omitted emergency issues.

That's where we saw a golden opportunity.

We then developed a focused editorial strategy Emergency SEO, with the aim of capturing people in immediate stress or pain, via Google searches like:

  • “What to do if a pivot tooth has fallen out”
  • “How long does a dental abscess last”
  • “Dental emergency Geneva”
  • “Geneva dental office making an appointment quickly”

Targeted content production

We started publishing several dozen blog posts per month, responding to very concrete problems. Each item:

  • Was optimized around a strategic keyword
  • It provided a real medical answer, simple and accessible
  • Offered a Direct call to action (making an appointment, phone call, itinerary)

The objective: to help, to reassure, to convert.

This content allowed the clinic to quickly appear on the first page on urgent requests, with highly qualified traffic made up of patients ready to come and consult.

Local reinforcement through netlinking

Once the editorial strategy was well launched, we started the work of Local netlinking : obtaining backlinks from Swiss health sites, professional directories and regional media. This network allowed Neveclinic to:

  • To establish your local authority with Google
  • To strengthen its referencing in the geographical perimeter of Geneva
  • To progressively get ahead of its competitors in key queries

Results of the service

In less than 6 months, the results exceeded all expectations:

  • The site went from 10 to 15 visitors per day to over 230 visitors/day.
  • The clinic now receives several appointment requests per day, the vast majority resulting from local and urgent research.
  • The “emergencies” and “dental advice” pages are now included in top results on Google Switzerland.

Organic traffic is highly qualified, which is directly translated into physical appointments made via the site.

Long-term collaboration

Since this first phase of growth, we have continued to support Sylvain on a monthly basis to:

  • Produce new targeted items
  • Optimize its most competitive service pages
  • Further strengthen its local reputation via regional backlinks

Our objective for the coming months is clear: Make Neveclinic the number 1 dental clinic in Geneva on Google, for all searches related to care, emergencies and oral health.
